Within a matter of a few days, editor-in chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the first Vogue Cover featuring photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was among America's most popular models, appearing on the covers of top magazines, including Vogue Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and many other magazines. Ann was the first model to make her debut internationally in Europe and Japan as a model for Max Factor Revlon.
