Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. They are also cousins of the singer Dionne Warwick. Her mother and she started singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist of Newark at the age of fifteen years old. They performed the back vocals in Chaka Khan's track in 1978 Im Every Woman. She continued to offer backing vocals for Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her mother, and also worked briefly as a model appearing on the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. Her singing with New York-based group Material brought attention to major record labels, including Arista. She signed with Arista in 1983 where she continued to work for the rest of her career. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the highest-selling album for a debut singer. A number of hit singles, such as The Greatest Love of All, Saving My Love For You How Can I Tell You If You Give Good Love and The greatest Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US top 10s. The album debuted in 1987 and sold 25 million copies around the world. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney featuring the hit songs The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was her 1992 movie The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the most successful artists of all time. The film itself as well as the performance of her in it were not highly praised the soundtrack album and her cover to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped the singles and albums charts for months and sold 44 million copies all over the globe. In the same year, she got married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown together in the month of March, 1993. At this point her use of drugs was well-documented and she started using it daily in 1996.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchorwoman and reporter for the political section of CNN. She also produces some of the network's weekend shows such the Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels, such as NBC as well as CBS. Bash was awarded a Women in Washington Power List honor from Elle magazine. Bash is widely praised by her remarkable abilities as a reporter/an anchor. In her personal life the graduate of George Washington University is a doting mother to her only son. The single woman had two marriages.
