Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to several Malayalam films. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu movie Mahanati. The other awards she received comprise the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her initial career path was a children's actress. After completing her studies in Fashion Design, she returned to acting. She portrayed her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie didn't do well at the box office. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be successful at the box-office. Because of her hectic schedule for 2015, she could not choose but to pull out of films which she already began making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The movie's release was postponed in 2015 and now is expected to occur after September in 2020. The film will be released under an alternative title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) with actor Vijay.
